“Lockdown has proved my belief that most people are fundamentally decent. I've enjoyed hearing the dawn chorus, no seagulls, neighbourhood almost silent. The colour of the trees, grass and sky being so vivid and clear, every day feeling like a Sunday reminded me what life can be like.

Being a medically shielded person has meant being unable to deal with problems face to face and a loss of independence. I haven’t been able to go for a walk, sit in the sun or even see family and friends.

I'm very grateful for the kindness/help I received from KT Mutual-Aid, as did so many others. I admire all the KT volunteers (and the many others around the country) who stepped up, ensuring their neighbours were safe.

I hope something truly positive will come out of everyone's experiences of 2020."
