“Funny, I am going to miss aspects of the lockdown. The serene walks I took early morning with birds chirping, sun shining, quiet, no cars - perfect. If only it could stay this way, but then it wouldn’t be London I suppose.

I have been on my own all this time which has been hard, but a lot of people stayed in touch and I even had a fun Zoom birthday.

There was also the spirit of my community, something I had not experienced in London before. The members of our Mutual Aid group were ready to help and the little I did got me around the area and helped me to finally get to know my neighbourhood and some of my neighbours. I am very lucky and discovering my patch and some new people in it will be the positive things that stay with me.”
