“Finishing my undergraduate degree during lockdown was both a blessing and a curse. While it gave me the time and space to really focus on my studies, it also limited the support I was able to receive from family, friends and teachers.

Running and walking around my local area at the height of lockdown was a great way for me to explore hidden corners of the neighbourhood. I’ve cherished this slowing down of London life.

Lockdown has revealed to me just how quickly you can build a strong sense of community and connect to those around you. Take the mutual aid groups, for example. They’ve been a glimmer of hope in a time of crisis.”
